This policy explains what information Uncle Gordy's collects when you use unclegordys.com or buy from us, and what we do with it. Short version: we only use it to get you your sauce.
What we collect
- Order details: what you bought, and your Verde charity choice if you pick one.
- Contact and delivery info: your name, email, phone number, and address (for Uber delivery), plus any notes you leave at checkout.
- Payment info: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Where you came from: if you arrive through a tagged link (for example from our Instagram), we save that tag with your order so we know which posts work.
How we use it
- To process your order and payment.
- To text or message you about pickup or delivery.
- To make the charity donations you choose.
- To keep basic records for taxes and accounting.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Stripe processes payments and receipts. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Uber gets your delivery address if you choose Uber delivery.
- Cloudflare hosts this site and may keep standard technical logs, like IP addresses, for security.
AI agent orders
If you buy through an AI assistant using our agent tools, your assistant sends us the order, delivery, and contact details you gave it, plus a one-time payment token from your wallet provider (such as Stripe Link). We use them exactly like an order placed on the site.
Cookies and tracking
We don't use tracking cookies or analytics. The site saves your cart and link tag in your browser's local storage so they're still there when you come back. You can clear them any time in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as we need them for taxes and accounting, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you. If you live in California, you have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. Message us and we'll take care of it.
Kids
This site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
