Terms of service

Last updated September 27, 2026

These terms cover your use of unclegordys.com and anything you buy from Uncle Gordy's. By placing an order, you agree to them.

Who we are

Uncle Gordy's is a small-batch hot sauce operation based in Los Angeles, California.

Orders and availability

Each drop is very limited. An order is confirmed once payment goes through. If we oversell or can't fill your order for any reason, we'll let you know and refund you in full. We may limit quantities per order, and we can cancel orders that look fraudulent or abusive.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and shown before you pay. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Pickup and delivery

We offer free pickup around Beverly Hills or a $5 local Uber delivery. We'll text you to arrange a time. Delivery is only available locally in the Los Angeles area.

Verde and charity

100% of the Verde price goes to charity. You can choose "Uncle Gordy's pick" or name a charity yourself. We pool Verde money and make the donations ourselves after each drop, so donations are made in our name and aren't tax-deductible for you. If a charity you name can't accept donations, we'll pick a similar one.

Buying through AI agents

You can buy through an AI assistant using our agent tools. When you do, you're responsible for what your assistant orders on your behalf, including the items, quantities, and total you approve in your wallet. These terms apply the same way.

The sauce

Our sauces are naturally fermented and handmade in small batches. Keep them refrigerated after opening. Ingredients are listed on the site and the jar. Our kitchen handles common allergens, so if you have a food allergy, message us before ordering. Some of our sauces are very spicy (one contains Trinidad Scorpion peppers), so enjoy responsibly.

Refunds

See our refund and return policy.

Our liability

We make our sauce with care, but it's provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies.
