Refund and return policy

Uncle Gordy's is a tiny, small-batch hot sauce operation. We want you to be happy with your jar, so here's how it works.

Returns

Because hot sauce is a food product, we can't take back opened or delivered jars for resale.

If something's wrong

If your jar arrives broken, leaking, or not what you ordered, or if something seems off with the sauce, message us within 7 days of pickup or delivery with a photo. We'll replace it or refund you in full, whichever you prefer.

Cancellations

Changed your mind? Message us before your order is picked up or sent out and we'll cancel it and refund you in full.

Verde and charity

100% of the Verde price goes to charity, and we pool Verde money into donations after each drop. If you cancel a Verde order before we've made the donation, we'll refund you in full. Once the donation is made, we can't get it back, but we'll still replace a damaged jar.

Delivery

We offer free pickup around Beverly Hills or a $5 local Uber delivery. If we can't complete your delivery, we'll refund the delivery fee or the whole order, your choice.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe. They usually show up within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
